Stroke Play Tournaments in Killeen
Stonetree Golf Club host the Annual Killeen City Championship, an individual stroke play event, that is spread out over two days. This golf tournament is typically flighted and golfers play head to head against players in their own flight. There is a Mens, Senior, and Ladies flight.
Now there are several other Central Texas golf courses in the area that host their own stroke play championship. The Courses of Clear Creek, the 27-hole facility at Fort Hood, typically has their championship on Labor Day. The Hills of Cove Golf Course in Copperas Cove usually has their event known as the Ken Ambler Memorial around July 4th. Then in Lampasas, the Hancock Park Golf Course's championship is the A.C. January Memorial golf tournament that is hosted over 3 days on Memorial Day weekend.
